Ravenna - Conference "Masonry, Renaissance and Cinema in the construction of national identity"


Freemasonry, and Renaissance Cinema in the construction of national identity: this is the title of the conference organized by the Ravenna Masonic Lodges to be held on 4 March at 20 , 30 at the Hall of the Library Classense Muratori. The initiative is part of the events planned by the Grand Orient of Italy to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, will include the screening of some short period: The fall of Rome (1905), Little Garibaldi (1909) and an extract from the film Ricordi, directed in 1954 by Carmine Gallone. This important event will also see the speeches of:

- Sergio Toffetti, film historian
- Prof. Antonio Panaino, University of Bologna
- Fioravanti Bernardino, Great Library of the Grand Orient
At the conclusion of the conference will speak the Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy, Gustavo Raffi.
